Dedicated to achieving a total vision of document capture, this year’s conference featured expert Rich Medina from Doculabs, user presentations from Blue Chip Datacap customers, including Goodyear, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, and Murphy-Hoffman, in-depth sessions on recognition, invoice processing, document classification, medical claim processing and the first look at Taskmaster version 7.5.

This year’s Sessions Agenda focused on cost savings – savings made possible by automating manual processes, productivity enhancements, new technologies, and simply by getting more out of a Taskmaster implementation.

20 Years Of Capture Innovation

This year’s Conference was also a celebration of Datacap’s 20th anniversary. It’s a time of growth and transformation for the company and the Conference provided opportunities to meet the newest members of the management team - from Development, QA, and Solutions - who are bringing new ideas and energy. There was lots of good interaction between Datacap end users, resellers and Datacap management. All comments are being consolidated and passed along the the right people who will be able to act on suggestions for improvement.

Three tracks, covering Business, Technical and Applications, provided a comprehensive view of every aspect of Taskmaster, version 7.5. Additional value was provided by Datacap Technology partners, who demonstrated the latest scanning, recognition, workflow, ECM, and document ID solutions.

20 Miles North of Times Square

This year’s Conference site was the Palisades Conference Center in Palisades, New York, a state-of-the-art meeting venue located in an exclusive setting that optimizes learning. We were blessed with a beautiful late summer evening that allowed us to enjoy Monday evening's 20th anniversary banquet and celebration under the tent by the pond. As Raquy and The Cavemen finished up their set of drum-fueled Arabian fusion, following Joey Gay's raucous New York Comedy Club, we all looked up to see a full moon rising over the trees. It was a glorious ending to a wild night of enjoyment.
