Thanks to our sponsors

We wish to thank our sponsors: Fujitsu, FileNet, Canon, Stellent, Bowe Bell + Howell, IBML, OnBase, Vignette, Kofax, and Oce for helping raise thousands of dollars for these foundations. Thanks also to Bicycle Therapy, Philadelphia's leading bicycle retailer, who provided the Litespeed bicycle for the raffle, as well as the Litespeed bicycle and CompuTrainer for the time trial competition.

Litespeed Bicycle Raffle Winner

Richard Godin of Fifth Third Bank won the raffle for the Litespeed Vela racing bicycle.

Time Trial Competition

The main event in the Datacap booth throughout AIIM was the one-mile, time-trial competition. Our Sponsors competed to make the largest donation to the foundatino of their choice, as well as for a Discovery Team jersey signed by Lance himself. The CompuTrainer and Litespeed bicycle in the booth was so popular that over 20 "amateurs" rolled up their dress pants and took a crack at the best time, competing with the professional racers that were on hand to show off the bicycles.

The competition grew in intensity throughout AIIM, finishing with a flurry of attempts during the home stretch of the show. Team FileNet and Team Fujitsu competed furiously for the lead throughout Thursday. Just 15 minutes before AIIM closed, Ulrich Leuthner of FileNet bested the time posted by Harold Fischer of Fujitsu by just 2 seconds. Team Fujitsu was quick to respond, running over to the Datacap booth, with Scott Steiner eventually capturing the top honors in a "photo finish" just as the show was closing. As a result of Scott's victory, the largest donation will be made in honor of Fujitsu.

Top Finishers

  1. Scott Steiner - Team Fujitsu 2:32.52
  2. Ulrich Leuthner - Team FileNet 2:37:09
  3. Harold Fischer - Team Fujitsu 2:39.17
  4. Neil Parrott - Team FileNet 2:46:92

Harold Fischer celebrates his top finish

Congratulations to all our competitors, as all will attest, it was not a "ride in the park". We thank Jaime Castillo of Canon, Kim Finkbeiner of Stellent, Art Gehring who rode for Bowe Bell + Howell, Scott Blau of Datacap, Jesse of Vignette and Bill Platt of FileNet.

LiveStrong Wristbands and Tugboat Tags

Datacap also gave away 500 Lance Armstrong LIVESTRONG wristbands and Tyler Hamilton Tugboat Tags to AIIM attendees, each of which represents a $1 donation to these foundations.

Thanks again to all who made this posssible, successful and fun.
