Capture and Imaging Technologies: The On-Ramp to Effective Information Management

This Document Imaging and Capture Survey sponsored by AIIM and Datacap features 1091 responses to questions regarding scanning and capture drivers, obstacles, usage and applications

A total of 1,091 executives participated in the survey during January 2006. Unlike past surveys, the 2006 Capture Survey included two samples, one drawn from AIIM contacts and another drawn from a sample completely unconnected with AIIM. The core demographics of the survey participants were as follows:

              -- Banking and finance = 12%

              -- Insurance = 8%

              -- Manufacturing and engineering = 8%

              -- Utilities, oil, and gas = 7%

              -- Education = 7%
