Datacap's Cycle Faster Program Raises $20K for Cancer Research

Fundraiser Proceeds to Benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation

Tarrytown, NY - June 6, 2006 - Datacap announced today that its second annual Cycle Faster for Cancer Research event has raised almost twenty thousand dollars through pledges and sponsorships for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Datacap, AIIM and technology partners convened at AIIM Expo 2006 for a unique fundraising campaign in which participants biked and walked along the Schuylkill River through Philadelphia's Fairmount Park on May 15th.  Datacap also won a Best of Show award for it's new Taskmaster Web Service for SOA.

During the AIIM Expo, Datacap's booth was the scene of some exciting competition for the benefit of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Over thirty program sponsors and AIIM attendees competed on a racing bike attached to a virtual trainer provided by Philadelphia's Bicycle Therapy. Bicycle Therapy also provided two professional racers to demonstrate and assist in the effort. Fred Broce of GlaxoSmithKline won the grand prize, a Felt F4-C Bicycle.

Winners of the Datacap booth time trials will have donations to LAF made in their company's name.
