Datacap announced today that its annual Datacap Capture
Conference, held on September 25 and 26th, 2006 in Tarrytown, NY, was an
unqualified success. A hundred end-users, prospects, integrators, industry
analysts, and technology partners, from as far as Australia, Malaysia and
Indonesia, convened at the Tarrytown House Conference Resort for education,
information exchange and fun!
Attendees had an exclusive preview
of forthcoming Datacap solutions, including Taskmaster 7.0, the first public
demonstration of the new auto-indexing and classification solution, known as
Datacap Wordfire. SOA was also extensively covered with an update of Taskmaster
Web Service - an AIIM 2006 "Best of Show" award winner - and an overview of SOA
initiatives from many Datacap partners.
Keynote
speaker Pamela Doyle of Fujitsu overviewed ECM and Capture industry
developments. Pamela also
highlighted case studies of a number of Datacap customers for their innovative
approaches to ECM using Datacap Taskmaster capture
software.

used the User Conference as an opportunity to recognize customers and resellers
who have worked with Datacap to help extend the boundaries of capture. Datacap
presented ten Capture Excellence awards recognizing innovative implementations,
demanding applications and advanced customization.
