Applied Docs of Almomte, Ontario provides document management solutions for the transportation industry. In 2007, working closely with Datacap, Applied Docs implemented a solution for Kuehne + Nagel Canada that automates customs information capture from commercial invoices. A demanding application, the Kuehne + Nagel solution requires accurate capture of line items, from dissimilar documents which can contain hundreds or even thousands of lines of data, with 7 plus fields per line. The results include dramatic productivity and time savings for Kuehne + Nagel. This allows Kuehne + Nagel to grow their business at a much lower cost while improving their customer response times.
Integrator CGI has combined Taskmaster with its Sovera solutions for healthcare, delivering capture of patient medical records and Accounts Payable documents. Sovera ® HIM and Sovera ® AP solutions utilizing Taskmaster enable hospitals to convert paper documents into electronic records; provide more efficient and accurate document indexing than one person could accomplish; decrease errors; and shorten document cycle time. Earlier this year, Sovera-Datacap solutions were implemented at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, Health Management Associates (HMA) and St. Vincent's Indianapolis Hospital. At one customer site, the Sovera and Taskmaster solution has generated a reduction in scan and indexing staff from 11 to six. It also enables nearly half of the client's paper medical records to be processed without human intervention.
Cutting Edge Solutions (CES), Kansas City, has leveraged its mastery of Datacap Rules and expertise in Taskmaster implementations to exceed the expectations of a roster of customers, including KC Life, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, and Murphy-Hoffman, among others. The CES team has continually taken the lead on development and deployment of new applications, including a capture Web Service that runs inside OnBase from Hyland Software, Datacap Wordfire auto classification software, and Visioneer OneTouch. CES' unique technical skills and sense of fun have helped them to build a loyal community of customers that grows exponentially year to year.
Torrential Data of Virginia Beach, Virginia had previously integrated its high volume document management toolkit, known as Datahaven TM , with Exel Transportation Services' custom accounting application to help Exel manage the paper-intensive accounting transactions of its contract logistics and freight management business. In late 2006, Torrential Data approached Datacap to add Datacap's forms processing technology to improve further on the efficiency of the integrated Datahaven solution. In 2007, Torrential Data added Taskmaster for Invoices to the solution to help Exel process - on a daily basis - up to 6,000 pages of invoices plus up to 7,000 pages of backup documentation related to these invoices. Torrential Data fashioned a high volume, fully-integrated solution with advanced data capture functionality that has enabled Exel to reduce its administrative headcount and streamline its document cycle times from 10 days to five. As a result, Exel projects its return on investment will reach 218% within five years.
Electronic Knowledge Interchange (EKI) prides itself on developing robust document management solutions for corporate and governmental organizations. In 2007, EKI completed its innovative application for the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) as part of the Cities Readiness Initiative (CRI). CRI is a federally-funded program to aid cities in increasing their capacity to deliver medicines and medical supplies during a large-scale public health emergency. EKI's solution leveraged Taskmaster to capture and store data on citywide dispensing of medications to the three million people in Chicago. In addition, EKI implemented a large Accounts Payable capture solution for Goodyear Tire, integrating Taskmaster for Invoices with IBM/FileNet and SAP.
