Industry NewsAmerican College of Physicians Wins Award For Datacap Taskmaster Application

Kinetic Information and IMERGE Consulting Recognize Web Based Data Entry Solution

In October, Kinetic Information LLC announced the winners of the 2004 Process Innovation Awards. Created in 1996 to honor superior applications for their business effectiveness, and co-sponsored by IMERGE Consulting, the program presents six Innovative Solution Awards to organizations that have implemented applications that are returning significant business benefit. Datacap customer American College of Physicians won first prize for the high degree of accuracy of the easily administered solution.

Winners are selected based on process improvements that lead to gains in at least one of the following areas: productivity, profitability, ability to adapt to market conditions, or competitive standing/market share. Judging was performed by an independent panel of industry analysts that included Michael Bragen of Software Productivity Research LLC; Tom Elliott of Strategy Analytics; Jon Pyke of The Process Factory Ltd.; Don Post and Arthur Gingrande of IMERGE Consulting; and John Parker of Kinetic Information LLC.

American College of Physicians (ACP) uses Datacap Taskmaster and Taskmaster Web to process test results for its Medical Laboratory Evaluations division. The award winning solution combines browser-based data entry with a scanning-based automated data entry system to create a highly accurate, easy to administer solution.

In other awards news, Datacap customer Nationwide Insurance won a 2004 FileNet Innovation Award for their E-File application, which includes Datacap Taskmaster Components running inside FileNet Capture. Congratulations Nationwide!
